In the vestiges of the medieval ramparts the 'Porte d'Espagne' shelters in its corner tower an archaeological museum whose collections go from prehistory to the Middle Ages.

Une PERLE RARE Outstanding
Pros:Entre mer et montagne, Cerbère, ultime localité française sur la route de l'Espagne, dans ce village qui vit paisiblement loin des foules balnéaires, pour y séjourner, nous avons découvert une perle rare ! Le gîte Les Pyrénées au Mas des oliviers.
Cons:Comme nous aimons nos aises, notre choix s'est porté sur ce gîte en rez-de-chaussée. Au milieu d'un parc clôturé d'oliviers et d'amandiers, à 5 minutes en voiture de la jolie ville de Céret, un gîte mitoyen avec la résidence des propriétaires mais complètement indépendant de type T2 de standing, au super design, décoré dans un style contemporain , 39 m², WIFI gratuit, terrasse offrant une vue panoramique sur le Canigou et la chaîne des Albères, le tout d'une propreté irréprochable. À noter que dans ce gîte les enfants sont les bienvenus. Mas des oliviers en toute confiance, n'oubliez pas vos lunettes de soleil, car vous serez éblouis. Le super Bonus: Les propriétaires, Alma et José sont accueillants, chaleureux, gentils, disponibles, ont de bons conseils touristiques avec documentations et cela toute l'année. Je pense que leur devise est « 100% d'indice de satisfaction ». Et encore merci pour les petites attentions à notre arrivée et pendant notre séjour.
